The Cross+Flame Community is a Web-based, not-for-profit progressive interfaith discussion, research, and information community dedicated to upholding all the values expressed in the Mission Statement.
By accessing and using this website, you acknowledge that you understand these Terms and Conditions, and that you accept them and agree to be legally bound by them. You should not use or report any materials found on or linked to this website if you have any objections to any of these Copyright policies.
The Cross+Flame Community may revise these Copyright policies over time as new features are added to the website or as Internet law and standards evolve. While the indicated physical files found hosted on Cross+Flame.com are the intellectual property of Cross+Flame Ministries, all posts in the forum, avatars uploaded, and photos submitted to the photo album remain the intellectual property of the submitters of the material (forum users) within the guidelines as described below in the Forums Legalese.
If any income is generated from this website, that money will be used to offset the cost of maintaining this website, such as hosting fees, domain registration, etc. There is NO profit is being made. Period

The Cross+Flame Community respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask visitors to the website to do the same. If you believe that your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, the following information in the form of a written notification (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) must be provided to a designated contact person of the Cross+Flame Community:

Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author, and hence the site administration will not be held liable for their content. As well, posts by the mods/admins reflect the personal views of the moderator or admin, and do not indicate views officially endorsed by the site administration and hence the site administration will not be held liable for their content. (Cross and Flame Usage)
Yes, the Cross and Flame is a Methodist symbol, but it is also a symbol of this website. The UMC has copyrights to usage of specific manifestations of the Cross and Flame, none of which I believe can be applied here as I make no references to Methodist Church on my website except in this note, I do not use any manifestation of the official Cross and Flame logo (as my logo is custom-made and significantly different, as shown above), and this site is not-for-profit. However, just in case:
The Cross and Flame is a registered trademark and the use is supervised by the General Council on Finance and Administration of The United Methodist Church. Permission to use the Cross and Flame must be obtained from the General Council on Finance and Administration of The United Methodist Church - Legal Department, 1200 Davis Street, Evanston, IL 60201.
I also have written authorization to use the Methodist Cross and Flame symbol on this site should that ever become an issue, although I will never use the official symbol. I will provide that information to anyone in UMC authority who requests it.
